The Superstar Racing Experience, created by NASCAR greats Tony Stewart and Ray Evernham, unveiled its inaugural schedule on Monday. The IROC-like series will race on six consecutive weekends in June and July.
The schedule is as follows:
1) Stafford Motor Speedway (Conn.) — June 12
2) Knoxville Raceway (Iowa) — June 19
3) Eldora Speedway (Ohio) — June 26
4) Lucas Oil Raceway (Ind.) — July 3
5) Slinger Speedway (Wis.) — July 10
6) Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway (Tenn.) — July 17
Nine drivers have been announced to the series so far, including Stewart, Tony Kanaan, Paul Tracy, Bobby Labonte, Hélio Castroneves, Willy T. Ribbs, Mark Webber, Bill Elliott, and Ernie Francis Jr. Three more full-driver driver announcements are expected to be made in the coming months.
The series will race on Saturday nights in a two-hour window on CBS Sports.
